Our Sunday spent with Captain Underpants

For me growing up Sundays were family days. Malls weren’t open, nothing was open and you were forced to spend time together!
I miss those times so we’ve decided to make Sundays— Family Movie Day!

I have always been a fan of Twentieth Century Fox movies so when I heard that the Blu-ray + DVD copy of Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (Hero Edition) was out it was a no brainer! We made muffins, brought out the capes, captain underpants blankets and we were ready (we didn’t have popcorn…. of course we didn’t the one time our kid asks for it lol)

Not only did we watch the movie literally 3 times that day (Mom Hacks by Georgia: want your kids quiet? Get them this movie), and have been asked to watch it everyday since, but they also have really cool features as part of this movie! Mason loved the “The Captain Underpants Guide To Being a Hero”…and there is 30 mins plus of this interactive fun!

So guys put your phone down for a couple of hours, go grab this movie and make memories together as family! I didn’t think I would miss it as much as I did and this is our Sunday tradition from here on out! George and Harold made our little super heros day!

Now with the holidays around the corner, movies for Family Movie Day is the PERFECT stocking stuffer!
